By playing on Aura PvE RP, you agree to the rules below.
Section 1Basics
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or personal attacks, in voice or text.
No cheating: no mod menus, injectors, exploits, or abusing bugs. Report bugs to staff instead. Using a bug for gain gets your progress rolled back.
Staff decisions are final in the moment; appeal afterwards through a ticket, not in game chat.
Use your real character. One character per person at a time; do not share accounts.
Section 2PvE / RP mode
The server runs in one of two modes.
PVE mode: no attacking, robbing, kidnapping, or killing other players. Crime is against NPCs and the world (store robberies, fishing, mining, jobs). Only police can use force on players.
RP mode: player-vs-player crime is allowed, but only with a roleplay reason and a fair chance to react ("fail RP" and "random deathmatch" are not allowed).
Section 3Roleplay
Stay in character in the city. Keep out-of-character talk to the channels staff provide (Discord, or the phone).
Value your life. If you are held at gunpoint, comply. Do not run when there is no way out.
No metagaming: do not use information you only know from outside the game (Discord, streams, another character).
No powergaming: do not force actions on another player without giving them a chance to respond.
New Life Rule: after you are revived by EMS you keep your memories. After bleeding out and waking at the hospital you forget how you died and who did it, and you do not return to that scene for a short time.
Section 4Jobs and paid work
Do the job as intended. Do not use bugs to farm pay, and do not sit idle on a duty clock (AFK) for pay.
Do not block job locations (depots, drop-offs, the Job Center) with vehicles.
Staff can adjust job pay and prices at any time.
Section 5Police, EMS, dispatch
Law enforcement jobs (LSPD, BCSO, SASP) and EMS are for players who apply and stay on duty. On duty you follow the department's procedures: cuff and search only with cause, book people through the CAD, use the transport for NPC suspects.
Do not abuse the panic button, the radio, or the scanner. The 911 radio channels are for service jobs only; civilians must not transmit on them.
Do not use police powers (cuffing, searching, spike strips) on friends for fun while on duty.
Section 6Crime (in RP mode, and against NPCs at any time)
Store robberies: only with a real weapon, one at a time per store, with the clerk as the victim. There is a cooldown per store. Do not rob the same store repeatedly to farm.
Robbery earnings are partly dirty cash. Launder it through the in-game dealer only. Do not trade dirty cash for real-world goods.
Vehicles: you need keys, or you steal by lockpicking or hotwiring. Do not carjack players in PVE mode.
Prison: if you are sentenced, serve it. Trying to leave the grounds brings you back with extra time.
Do not use jobs, garages, the mod shop, or the dealership to grief other players (blocking, ramming for fun).
Section 7Vehicles and driving
Drive realistically. Vehicle deathmatch (VDM) is not allowed.
Do not exploit garages, impound, or the mod shop to duplicate or transfer vehicles.
Emergency vehicles are for on-duty emergency workers only.
Section 8Money and items
In-game money cannot be bought or sold for real money, and there are no paid chance boxes. (Rockstar license rule.)
Do not duplicate items or money. Staff logs show it.
Admin-set prices apply to everyone equally.
Section 9Voice and chat
No music playing through voice, and no voice changers used to impersonate staff.
Use the radio for its purpose: CB for everyone, service channels for police/EMS/dispatch only.
Keep the city chat and radio free of spam and out-of-character arguments.
Section 10Consequences
Warning, then kick, then temporary ban, then permanent ban. Serious cheating, exploiting for gain, or threats can skip straight to a ban. Staff may roll back items, money, or vehicles gained by breaking these rules.
